Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant technical experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience required.
Candidate must be able to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance at time of hire. A current and active Top Secret clearance or higher is highly preferred. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

This candidate will be the Chief Systems Engineer of a 50+ person integration program on a game-changing capability that will culminate with deliverable hardware to the field. The individual will lead a team to manage requirements, manage program risks, lead all design reviews, both internal & external, and lead all requirement verification activities.
The Chief Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical leadership in the development and integration of high-performance network communications systems. This includes serving as the lead authority supporting program execution, strategy development and business development.
Additionally, this employee will be expected to communicate with the government customer on a regular basis, ensuring customer satisfaction is maximized. Not only are these communications vital to the job at hand, but the candidate will be expected to support the development of future technological growth with the customer, and identify Internal Research and Development (IR&D) opportunities to better support the customer.
