Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Windows System Administrator. The position provides an opportunity to develop and advance the cutting-edge technology that supports our nation’s fundamental defense services. Employees work closely with the government to develop solutions that allow them to carry out submarine missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to deliver end-to-end solutions in mission systems integration, development, and operations support to fleets and the organization.
The Windows System Administrator will work with the team to setup and manage accounts, manage permissions, setup mounts, and configure network interfaces. A working knowledge of Linux and Shell scripting (i.e. bash, VBS) is very helpful in order to troubleshoot and modify scripts.

• Ability to setup and deploy Windows Server 2012, at a minimum
• Ability to setup and deploy Windows XP 7, 8, 10
• Ability to setup network shares
• Ability to manage users
• Familiarization with virtualization
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work in dynamic environments
• Active Secret Clearance
These skills are a PLUS
• Previous Voyage Management System experience
• Beginner’s Linux and Shell scripting experience (i.e. bash, VBS)
• Virtualization experience
• Windows Certification
