  • Basic Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred.


    Required skill sets:   5+ years of network analysis experience. 5+ years of experience with telecommunications, network management systems, and network management protocols. Basic data processing skills (scripting in PERL, PYTHON, or equivalent capability). Experience using WIRESHARK or equivalent protocol analysis tool. Experience in researching and using telecommunications standards (ITU-T Recommendations). Strong technical writing skills to present test results.



    TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidate must be able to obtain Polygraph clearance.  Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

    General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Senior Network Analyst to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.  

    Key Responsibilities
    The Senior Network Analyst will apply domain knowledge to the design, development, evaluation, and integration of customized systems and networks to support Customer needs. It is expected that the candidate be well versed in all layers of the OSI model, SDH/SONET communications, and network troubleshooting.  The candidate will work closely with Customer personnel on a daily basis, and will be General Dynamics Mission Systems’ front-line representative in high pressure situations.
