  • Basic Qualifications

     

    • Strong, hands-on testing background (required)
    • Familiarity testing cloud-based solutions (required)
    • Ability to query data within Postgres, MongoDB, Accumulo, and such (required)
    • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements as they pertain to products and services (required)
    • Familiarity with use of containers and container orchestration (required)

    Education Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

     

    Clearance Requirements:
    Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

    Responsibilities for this Position

    General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a DT&E Test Engineer.  This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems.  General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

     

    REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
    The DT&E Test Engineer will be expected to establish component-level test process and procedures, and provide full DT&E test support to an existing project(s) within the PSO organization. The candidate will test all aspects of the product(s), to include performance and regression testing. The candidate will work with the development team to identify and document test cases, ensure version management, set up test environment, design test plans, develop test cases/scenarios/use cases, and execute tests.

    • Distributed computing (preferred)
    • Doors Next Generation (preferred)
    • Atlassian Suite of Tools (Jira, Confluence) (preferred)
